Our skillsets includes technical implementaton of governance programmes using using Problem-Driven Iterative Adaptation (PDIA) approaches. We have worked closely with various programme teams to use and adapt the PDIA Toolkit to support coalitions to influence positive change to socio-economic issues.

Climate Governance Research

We research and consult on governance surrounding climate change

Facing today’s burgeoning climate crisis, we take a special interest in researching and collaborating on the diplomacy, mechanisms and response measures that steer social systems towards preventing, mitigating or adapting to the risks posed by climate change. We are convinced that one of the most important strategies to mitigate and adapt to climate change is to democratize the governance of climate action and include the voices and experiences of the most affected in intervention and policy design.

Inclusive Economic and Enterprise Development

We believe that inclusive economic and enterprise development is a key ingredient to addressing global poverty.

Our approach to international development prioritises including poor and left behind communities in the development of sustainable market-based solutions to pressing global challenges. We believe that supporting the poor to develop income generating projects that work in their contexts is an important strategy to alleviating poverty and helping people step up and step out of difficult livelihood situations.

We are trusted market development experts with experience across sub-Saharan Africa. Our experience includes collaborating on human and economic development challenges by responding to tractable systemic constraints in identified markets and value chains. We have supported various programme teams to develop business models and partnerships that benefit smallholder farmers and agribusiness while improving overall productivity, nutrition and incomes.
